Loma - Don't Shy Away (Sub Pop) Texas trio Loma had no plans of making a second record. Emily Cross and Dan Duszynski had broken up during the making of it, but the pull of their unique chemistry with Shearwater's Jonathan Meiburg kept them together. Good thing too: Don't Shy Away is an absolutely gorgeous record -- hypnotic, haunting, mysterious and comforting.
