While Bauhaus were waiting to continue their reunion shows, founding member David J trawled through his archive of tapes and diaries from the early 80s and in collaboration with sound sculptor Tim Newman (Love Is A Ghost) presents two volumes of unique spoken word and songs, Analogue Excavations & Dream Interpretations, for Record Store Day 2022. Volume 1 includes a vocal contribution from Black Francis of The Pixies with guitar overdubs by Warren Defever of His Name Is Alive and Adrian Utley of Portishead.

The cult album Faust IV was the fourth studio album released by the German krautrock group in 1973. Listed in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, where it is referred to as a "krautrock classic", Faust IV includes the drone-based long instrumental Krautrock as opener, and seminal songs such as Jennifer and The Sad Skinhead. Faust IV Live! captures the strange magic that then and now defines Faust as an entity unto themselves.

Après le succès du concert Faust IV Live! en décembre 2019 au festival Lieblingsplatte de Düsseldorf, Jean-Hervé Péron (Faust) accompagné d’Amaury Cambuzat (Faust, Ulan Bator), Pierre Chevalier (Faust, Present), Jeanne-Marie Varain (Faust, Ernsthafte Angelegenheiten) et de leurs invités spéciaux Antonia Mallach, Raphaël Meulemans, Clément Meulemans, Didier Demeestere aux cordes, vents et percussions, présenteront ce projet à BBmix à l’occasion de la réédition de sept disques du groupe. L’album culte Faust IV est le quatrième album studio publié par le groupe allemand de krautrock en 1973, basé autour de guitares hypnotiques et d’expérimentations percussives. Répertorié dans le livre 1001 Albums que vous devez écouter avant de mourir, où il est qualifié de « classique du krautrock », Faust IV comprend le long instrumental Krautrock, basé sur un drone en guise d’ouverture, et des chansons phares comme Jennifer et The Sad Skinhead. Faust IV Live ! capture l’étrange magie qui, hier comme aujourd’hui, définit Faust comme une entité à part entière et devrait enchanter le Carré Bellefeuille comme lors du précédent passage du groupe à BBmix en 2014.

After Dizzee Rascal, Jimmy Page, Bryan Ferry and Mark E Smith, it's Cosey Fanni Tuti's turn to get the British Masters treatment as she tells Noisey’s John Doran about her career as an artist and musician which has spanned four decades.
In John's own words, "Cosey's work has continually innovated, challenged and outraged since the start of the 1970s, Whether as a member of the transgressive art collective Coum Transmissions or the boundary destroying industrial group Throbbing Gristle, or as an electronic musical with her partner Chris Carter. Since the 70's, her work has brought her into direct conflict with the police, the tabloid press, the British government, the music industry and the art establishment, and despite this, she remains to this day a uniquely progressive artist."
