CHRIS KNOX

Possivelmente a figura mais importante na cena alternativa / indie / pós-punk rock, da Nova Zelândia, Chris Knox, foi artista, musico, cartoonista, colunista de jornal, crítico de cinema (Groove Real), "DVD reviewer", e apresentador de um série de filmes clássicos na televisão da Nova Zelândia, intitulado The Vault.

Foi uma figura integrante de três bandas (Tall Dwarfs, Toy Love, The Enemy )bem como artista solo. Cantou na primeira banda punk, The Enemy, no final dos anos 70. Os The Enemy não registaram nenhuma gravação, mas o seu próximo grupo, Toy Love, gravaram um album. Também lançou uma série de albums a solo, auto-produziu outros, apresentou o seu Casiotone. Knox também lançou um álbum com o pseudónimo "Friend".
