Festival Rock de Glastonbury 2009

Começou o famoso Festival Rock de Glastonbury.Com os ingressos esgotados, Glastonbury abriu os portões 23 potrões na ultima quarta-feira Tendas já lotam os acampamentos no primeiro dia do mundialmente conhecido Festival. O festival, que será realizado neste final de semana (dias 25, 26, 27 e 28), já está com os ingressos esgotados, tem como principais nomes Bruce Springsteen, Blur e Neil Young. Entre outras atrações, há ainda Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Lily Allen, Franz Ferdinand, Jason Mraz, Prodigy e Echo and the Bunnymen. Entre as novas apostas estão Glasvegas, Florence & The Machine, White Lies, Passion Pit e The Streets, que mostrará novo trabalho no palco. Os ingressos para o festival inglês esgotaram-se em fevereiro, cinco meses antes de acontecer e sem atrações confirmadas. A pré-venda começou em Outubro do ano passado --no primeiro dia, metade dos ingressos já haviam sido reservados. O Glastonbury Festival é realizado na Worthy Farm em Somerset, na Inglaterra. O festival teve início na década de 1970 e oferece uma área de camping para o público. São três dias de festival e dezenas de atrações tocando simultaneamente nos palcos montados muma fazenda no interior da Inglaterra. No ano passado, Amy Winehouse, Cansei de Ser Sexy, Jay-Z, The Verve e Kings of Leon foram atracções.
