Listed in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, where it is referred to as a "krautrock classic", Faust IV includes the drone-based long instrumental Krautrock as opener, and seminal songs such as Jennifer and The Sad Skinhead. Faust IV Live! captures the strange magic that then and now defines Faust as an entity unto themselves. L’album culte Faust IV est le quatrième album studio publié par le groupe allemand de krautrock en 1973, basé autour de guitares hypnotiques et d’expérimentations percussives. Répertorié dans le livre 1001 Albums que vous devez écouter avant de mourir, où il est qualifié de « classique du krautrock », Faust IV comprend le long instrumental Krautrock, basé sur un drone en guise d’ouverture, et des chansons phares comme Jennifer et The Sad Skinhead.
