A internet é hoje em dia o reflexo daquilo que somos para o bem e para o mal. Eu criei este blogue com o objectivo de falar sobre a cultura pop - musica, cinema, livros, fotografia, dança... porque gosto de partilhar a minha paixão, o meu conhecimento a todos. O meu amor pela música é intenso, bem como a minha curiosidade pelo novo. Como não sou um expert em nada, sei um pouco de tudo, e um pouco de nada, o gosto ultrapassa as minhas dificuldades. The Germs’ Lorna Doom Has Died

Doom joined the Germs, formed by frontman Darby Crash and guitarist Pat Smear, in 1977. Later that year, the band released their debut song “Forming,” which Spin’s Brendan Mullen and Marc Spitz the “first true L.A. punk single.” The group released its first and only album (GI) in 1979 before disbanding in 1980 after Crash committed suicide.

The Germs featured prominently in Penelope Spheeris’ 1981 documentary about the Los Angeles punk scene The Decline of Western Civilization. A biopic about Crash entitled What We Do Is Secret was released in 2007 with Crash portrayed by actor Shane West, who went on to join the band for several reunion shows.
